ALL THE LOVE WE SHARED

ALL THE LOVE WE SHARED

Melbourne delivered the heat for Anaka’s very first SHARE THE LOVE party Thursday night – an intimate gathering of both loyal and new-loving clientele plus creative affiliates including timeless dynamo Rhonda Burchmore.

As promised the evening was the ultimate pairing of party and design with local labels Anna Campbell and Leonard Street showcasing their latest, spring summer 2014 collections – hair and makeup by the Anaka team.

Sending Aussie cool-kids into summer with a posse of prints and a palette that rocks, Leonard Street models wore high-street hair design that pulled from eighties-grunge – wet, worn and ready to roll the girls struck a superb image of modern youth culture, a huge trend for the season ahead.

Meanwhile, Anaka’s new Cinnamon Lounge served its ultimate purpose. The luxurious upstairs-space witnessed the divine transformation from beauty-to-beautiful bride as two models indulged the bridal hair and makeup process Anaka is renowned for. Each adorned entirely in Anna Campbell designs, romantic lace met soft body in a floaty faux bob while hand-placed stones were married with textured braid work, built-up for a crown-like effect.

A huge thank-you to the ever glamorous Rhonda Burchmore who, as an Anaka regular, always brings fun to the party. Also to Sharni Layton, Australian netball gold medal winner who joined Rhonda and 60 odd guests among the first to learn about Anaka’s all new haircare range … watch this space!

All in all a great night and spectacular start for Anaka’s multiple new ventures, and if the fashion, eats (thanks Harry Hall!) and Wen and Ware visuals weren’t enough, each guest left with a goodie bag brimming with everything from organic tea to Wella Professionals products and the very first samples of Anaka’s new product range.
